Submission Details
We are searching nation-wide for the next Jazen Tea drink to be included on our menu. To celebrate Pho Hoa, our partner brand’s, 35th year anniversary we are giving away $350 for the winning drink selection voted by our Jazen Tea customer base.
For the entire month of January 2018 we will be accepting drink submissions to be considered for the running. Submissions will be done through a form using the ingredient list provided along with any special instructions necessary.
Our panel of drink mixologists will then select the top candidates to move into the semi-finals throughout February where they will create and taste-test each recipe.
in March 2018 we will have the playoffs where we will pair drinks against each other to be voted on by our customers.
Jazen Tea maintains the right to alter any submission in any way, including but not limited to: name, ingredients, tea base, or preparation.
Each drink submission will be placed in the order it was received. Should there be an instant where duplicate submissions are created with identical ingredients, recipes and/or instructions we will select the first entry.
Eligibility
The Jazen Tea Drink Competition is open to all patrons who have reached the age of maturity in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. Employees, interns, or partners of Pho Hoa and Jazen Tea, are not eligible to enter.
By submitting an entry to the “Jazen Tea Drink Competition”, entrants certify that their participation in this contest is not illegal or in violation of any law, regulation, treaty or administrative act, and that the laws of their governing jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry do not prohibit or restrict the receipt of any prize under this contest.
Jazen Tea reserves the right to reject any entry, if the entry does not comply with Jazen Tea’s standards of morality and conduct.
By entering a drink submission, you understand and agree that Jazen Tea, anyone acting on behalf of Jazen Tea and Jazen Tea’s licensees, successors, and assignees, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, sale and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
By entering this contest, You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Jazen Tea.
Entry Period
The Jazen Tea Drink Competition begins at 12:00am PST on Monday, January 1st, 2018 and ends on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018, 11:59pm PST (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
Voting Period
The Jazen Tea Drink Competition selection begins at 12:00am PST on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 and ends on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018, 11:59pm PST (the “Selection Period”).
Our Jazen Tea Mixologists will test and taste all entries and select the top 6 entries. The top 6 entries will go head-to-head from 12:00am PST on March 1, 2018 -11:59pm PST on March 31, 2018 at our participating Jazen Tea locations.
Winner will be determined by number of drink sales ordered by our patrons at participating locations. The drink with the most sales for the entire month of March competition will be be announced by April 16th, 2018 11:59pm PST. Drinks ordered outside of March during the competition will not be eligible.

How to Enter
Completely fill out the submission form detailing your drink, instructions, and ingredients to be in your creation. Submit it between January 1 – 31, 2018. You may enter an unlimited number of times. All entries must be an original recipe you’ve created and not infringe on another individual’s or business’ property.
Jazen Tea reserves the right to reject any additional entries or entries that do not comply with these Official Rules. By entering, you indicate your unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules. You cannot win a prize unless you comply with all requirements in these Official Rules.
Judging
The first round of judging for drinks submission will be based on the following: 1) Clarity in instructions and ingredients. 2) Taste. 3) Simplicity in creation. 4) Originality.
Winner will be determined by number of drink sales ordered by our patrons during the month of March. The drink with the most sales for the entire month of March will be be announced by April 6th, 2018 11:59pm PST. Drinks ordered outside of March during the competition will not be eligible.
Prizes
The Winner for The Jazen Tea March Madness Drink Competition will win $350 and their creation will be added to the menu.
